Change User Password

Once you are logged in to Navigator, you may change your password using the Account Settings.

 

  1. Click the User menu in the upper right-hand corner of the Navigator title bar. View Navigator User menu to open Account settings window.View Navigator User menu to open Account settings window.

  2. Select the Change password menu under Account settings.

  1. Click the Edit button on the Password page.
  2. Enter your Current password on the Edit password page. View Account settings page, Edit password.View Account settings page, Edit password.

  3. Enter a New Password.

Strong Passwords are required. A password must adhere to the following rules:

  1. Minimum 8 characters
  2. Must contain three of the following:
    1. At least one uppercase letter (from A to Z)
    2. At least one lowercase letter (from a to z)
    3. At least one number (from 0 to 9)
    4. At least one non-alphabetic character (ex., !, $, #, %, etc.)

Passwords expire every 60 days by default, unless otherwise specified by the client.

Passwords may not be duplicated. The system remembers the past 24 passwords.

  1. Re-enter your new Password and click Save.

If you entered an incorrect current password, or you have changed your password within the past 24 hours, or you are attempting to reuse a previous password, a message states your password could not be changed. View Your password could not be changed message. Either your current one did not match the one we have on file or it is not old enough to be changed or you have attempted to reuse a previous password.View Your password could not be changed message.
