Edit Proctor Account
In order to edit a proctor account, you must first search for and then view the proctor account.

Only Proctor Management Client admin proctor users, Client administrators or VUE administrators may edit, add or remove demographic information for a proctor account. When a proctor logs in to Navigator, they are unable to modify any of their proctor account information. They may only view their account. If changes must be made to a proctor account, proctors must contact their client administrator to request updates to the proctor account. |
Edit basic proctor account information
If the address was previously added to the proctor account, the address fields will be visible and they may be edited along with the basic fields.
- Search for the desired proctor account. See Search Proctor Accounts for more details.
- Click the View button. See View Proctor Account for more details.
- Click the Edit link to the right of the Personal profile section.
The Edit personal profile page is displayed.
- You may edit any of the basic proctor profile fields.
All fields marked with an asterisk are required.
- Click Save.
If any of the required fields are not completed, an error message is displayed at the top of the screen and all required fields are highlighted in red to indicate they must be completed prior to saving the proctor account.
Upon successfully saving the proctor account, a message states that the user account was successfully updated.
- Click the Proctor list button to return to the list of proctor accounts.
Add address to proctor account
When the proctor account was created, if the address was not included the address information will be hidden. The address information may be added after the account was originally saved. Address fields are optional for proctor accounts, but if you choose to add any address fields to the proctor account you must add all the required address fields.
- Search for the desired proctor account. See Search Proctor Accounts for more details.
- Click the View button. See View Proctor Account for more details.
- Click the Edit link to the right of the Personal profile section.
- If you wish to enter an address for the proctor account, click the Address button and fill in all the required fields.

If you do not know all of the required address fields when you add or update the address for the proctor profile, you will be unable to save the proctor account to the system. You can click Remove address and add the address information at a later time. When you select Remove address, all the address fields are cleared and you are returned to the basic edit personal account page. |
- Click Save.

Remove address from the proctor account
A proctor address may be removed from a proctor account at any time, because the address fields are optional for proctor accounts.
- Search for the desired proctor account. See Search Proctor Accounts for more details.
- Click the View button. See View Proctor Accounts for more details.
- Click the Edit link to the right of the Personal profile section.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the address fields and click Remove address.
- Click Save.
The address is removed from the proctor account.
- Click the Proctor list button to return to the list of proctor accounts.
